Grostonas iela in southern direction (to the city); The area nowadays is quit and more or less green and thus very popular with cyclists and jogging people. On the background the Rietumi office complex.

Tomsona iela: A new development of an apartmentcomplex in the commie block area between Valdemara iela and the Skanstes area.

Also Tomsona iela; another new apartmentcomplex with shops in the ground floor

Crossing of the end of Skanstes iela and Valdemara iela. The last one continues city outbound in northern direction going under the circular traintracks which surrounds the Center rayon. Here a new mixed development of offices and shops just behind the old remnants of apartmentblocks next to the crossing.
